HOMEFLUX FOR IPHONE · SEPTEMBER 21, 2026

Your home stays yours.

HomeFlux does not collect your home data. No app account, advertising, or analytics.

What stays on your iPhone

Your brightness settings, comfort feedback, and a record of the HomeKit rules created by HomeFlux are stored locally on your iPhone. Device backups may include these settings according to your Apple backup configuration.

Apple Home access

With your permission, HomeFlux accesses your Apple Home homes, rooms, dimmers, and automation information to create and manage the rules you request. Apple Home and your home hub manage that information under your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy practices. HomeFlux does not send that information to Oblique Research LLC or a developer-operated server.

No tracking or advertising

The iPhone app includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information, track you across apps or websites, or receive the app’s locally stored settings and comfort history.

Your choices and deletion

You can pause or remove HomeFlux rules from the app. Remove rules before deleting HomeFlux if you no longer want those automations: deleting the app removes its local data but can leave rules on your home hub. Those rules can also be removed through Apple Home. Revoke HomeKit access in iPhone Settings at any time. The built-in demo does not connect to your home or save preferences.

We do not hold your home data, so there is no developer-side copy for us to retain or delete. Data in Apple backups follows your Apple backup settings.

Purchases and support

Apple processes App Store purchases. HomeFlux does not receive your payment card information. Apple may provide sales reports to the developer under its own privacy practices.

If you choose to submit a support issue on GitHub, the information you post is handled by GitHub and is visible to us and other readers. Issues are public; do not include addresses, access codes, private home details, or credentials. You can manage your posts through GitHub.
